Get to know the KBE Design Team.

Our design team specializes in creating custom designs and premium build services for any part of your home.

AARON

President

As president and team leader of KBE, Aaron has found a home for his creativity and 15 years of experience with project management. “Being a part of transforming a space for our customers is such a great feeling!”


Aaron is also a talented artist and works with various media including acrylic, watercolors, and pencils. He enjoys off roading, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Esther, their 2 children, and their dog at their home in Ephrata.

ESTHER

Operations Manager

Esther is our operations manager; in charge of marketing and building relationships with clients. “Our designers, project managers, and carpenters never cease to amaze me with their eye for design and craftsmanship. I love watching the whole process of transforming a clients outdated space into a fresh, new, beautiful place that they can be proud of.


Esther enjoys reading, and entertaining family with her cooking. She loves spending time with her husband, Aaron, and their children, Jonah and Lily, as well as her Australian Cattle Dog / Boxer / Beagle mix, Cooper.

KACIE

Designer

Kacie Hench holds an associates degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of York and has experience as an assistant prop stylist.


With her amazing eye for design and friendly disposition, she makes sure that our customers feel welcome and that their projects look top notch! Along with her design role, Kacie also contributes to our marketing efforts.


In her pastime, Kacie enjoys hiking, kayaking, and reading.

AMANDA

Assistant Designer

With an exceptional knack for customer service, and a great eye for design and attention to detail, Amanda is our Assistant Designer. She is an integral part of our process, supporting our design team throughout the entire project. Always achieving, Amanda is also working on furthering her design education and working towards the NKBA certification.


In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring (especially beach destinations) and spending time with her family and her 2 dogs, Hazel, and Olive.

TAMMY

Design Engineer

Tammy is our design engineer who excels at taking care of all the complex behind-the-scenes details of our projects such as final technical drawings, contract reviews, design support and training.


She is very excited to start developing skills with our newly anticipated 3D color rendering program!


In her free time, Tammy enjoys spending quality time with her husband, little boy, and their Corgi. Little league games, dirt bike riding, art, movies and DIY projects around the house are some of the activities you can find them enjoying together.

STEPHANIE

Project Coordinator

Stephanie is our dedicated Project Coordinator, bringing years of experience from the insurance industry. Excited to embrace a new chapter in the design world, she seamlessly blends her past experiences with a fresh passion for creative project management. 


“I am a detail-oriented planner by nature, so I love how our process is thoughtful, carefully planned, and extremely detailed. Being new to the remodeling industry, I really appreciate how all the little details align perfectly, creating stunning spaces for each client”. 


Stephanie loves planning events with her close-knit family and spending quality time with her husband and 3 daughters. She also enjoys traveling, live music, and getting lost in a good book.

TY

Project Manager

From a young age, Ty learned construction from his father who is a true “jack of all trades.” His father-in-law was a builder and chief building inspector in Maryland, so he had the chance to learn from his experience also. Ty worked on the construction of the Limerick Nuclear Power Plant – Unit 1, later for a home builder, and then as a wood truss designer for 14 years. He then worked as an electrician, and most recently for himself as a contractor until he joined our team.


In his free time, Ty boats and skis, enjoys the beach, camps and travels with his wife, and is involved with his church.

GREGG

Project Manager

Our project manager Gregg has extensive experience in finish carpentry, cabinetry, and project management. His cheerful demeanor and proactive attitude make him an asset to the KbE team.


He’s an avid Philly football and baseball fan who loves spending time with his wife and four daughters. He loves the outdoors, hiking, archery, and riding on bike trails with his youngest daughter.


Gregg says, “I enjoy seeing a project come together from start to finish. I also enjoy that every project is different, getting to know homeowners, and making their projects become a reality.”

MIKE

Lead Carpenter

Mike is one of our lead carpenters with over 25 years’ experience in residential construction. He started out framing houses then moved to remodeling and trim work. He has worked in a few cabinet shops building and installing kitchen cabinets. For past 10 years he has been installing custom kitchen cabinets.


In his free time, he loves to hike with his wife Kate. He has hiked mountains in Colorado, Banff Canada and parts of the Appalachian trail on the East Coast. He is also an amazing artist. His portraits are truly astounding.


Mike says, “I love my job and really enjoy seeing a kitchen come together. I enjoy seeing the joy it creates for the client as they see their dream coming to fruition.”

ADAM

Trim Carpenter

Adam is an amazing project manager and an expert carpenter who knows a bit of everything when it comes to construction. When he’s not working, he enjoys creating furniture for his home that his wife finds on Pinterest. He also loves fishing, drawing, and watching movies. Spending time with his family is very important to him, whether it's playing sports with his 4 boys, camping, or relaxing at the beach.


Adam takes pride in all the work he does. He says, “It’s so gratifying to see the finished projects and to be able to bring the clients vision into reality!”

JACOB

Victory Closets Designer

Jacob is our Victory Closets designer. His eye for design and efficiency creates the dream closet/pantry that our customers have always wanted. He grew up assisting his dad with projects around the house and also worked with framing.


 In his free time, Jake enjoys exercising, reading, creating art, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

DENNY

Closet Installer

Denny is our Victory Closets installer. From demolition and remodeling, all the way to fully constructing homes, Denny has worked in construction for most of his life. 


“I find it fulfilling knowing the customer is happy with the finished install. In enjoy being able to see the before and after transformation of the project and being able to take pride in what I’ve accomplished”. 


You’ll find him spending his free time with his girlfriend and four children. He especially enjoys outdoor activities, such as fishing and hiking with his kids. On the calmer days, he loves to read and draw.

KAREN

Business Manager

As a Millersville University graduate, Karen has experience working in many types of Lancaster County industries including construction, excavation, education, and non-profit. She is now happy to work part-time assisting the team. Karen enjoys interacting with our clients and supporting the local business community.


As an empty nester, she and her husband love spending time with their family and grandchildren.
